In this role, you will have the creative freedom to design, develop, test and implement robust solutions for DuPont businesses using a combination of cloud and on-premises services. The successful candidate will develop a partnership with the top science, technology and business talent to create value through innovative technology. The successful candidate must have a strong combination of practical skills in cloud and on-premises services including: networking, software development, engineering, system administration, data management, and cyber security.

You will contribute to the planning and large-scale deployment of solutions using a combination of cloud and on-premises services. On our team, collaboration is a must and occurs through short daily scrums, ad-hoc pair programming, mentoring, and project planning activities. The goal of the team is to maximize business value by architecting, deploying, supporting, and securing optimized solutions. Utilize your effective communication skills in this role to collaborate with top science and technology experts as well as world class partners to adopt and drive best practices and identify innovative strategies for successful product delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test and implement robust enterprise solutions for DuPont business lines using cloud and on-premises services

  • Provide leadership and architecture direction in the automation of business and solution development processes

  • Provide troubleshooting assistance for DevOps solution teams

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management

  • Mentor and work with DevOps team members and line of business contacts to validate system integrity

  • Work with Microsoft and other external partners to leverage and develop best practices in the efficient management of cloud services

  • Manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools

  • Develop and lead the code deployment process

  • Develop and monitor metrics to improve solution delivery

  • Build, maintain, and monitor configuration standards

  • Stay up to date on all new capabilities in Azure and other leading cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Google)

  • Recommend innovative uses of cloud services that can drive value to DuPont



Education and Experience

  • DevOps Cloud Specialist: Bachelor's degree in computer science/information technology and 3-5 years of related experience

  • DevOps Cloud Engineer: Bachelor's degree in computer science/information technology and 5-7 years of related experience

  • Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer: Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science/information technology or engineering and 8+ years of related experience

Additional qualifications:

  • Experience as a DevOps Manager or Solution Delivery that demonstrates an understanding of DevOps and technical quality control processes, artifacts and tools

  • Professional Experience with system administration, networking and security

  • DevOps Certified Practitioner

  • Six Sigma and Lean Certification preferred
