Facilities Development Project Coordinator (Job Number: 191313W-01)



Provide project management for the development and continued operation of facilities, with special expertise in space planning, scheduling, finishes, cost control and contract administration. Work with different Business Units and coordinate the entire move process as well as some portions of the construction/remodeling process. Manage multiple external vendors and projects simultaneously.


  • Manage the process of selecting finishes and furnishings for new construction projects, as well as employee relocations. Manage both on site and off site installations. Manage multiple vendors under tight schedule constraints in order to minimize employee downtime. Coordinate internal DuPont Pioneer services, as well as outside vendors to ensure employee needs are met to allow the highest productivity.

  • Highly skilled in determining employee’s needs and the objectives of a problem without guidance. Required to be proactive and a self-starter as well as able to develop a course of action to solve the problem independently.

  • Ability to develop solutions that meet the employee’s needs and result in an environment that supports the desired function or performance. Utilize skills of space planning to formulate preliminary space plans.

  • Apply knowledge of products and their attributes, the psychological impact of space, and how to achieve an aesthetic solution. Apply the understanding of building codes and ergonomics that affect employee health and safety.

  • Ability to be an active contributor on a team. This involves receiving criticism and giving productive feedback to other team members to improve processes.

Problem Solving Abilities:

  • Solving project delays with tight deadlines, while incorporating frequent design changes and changes in the scope of the project

  • Allocation of time between multiple projects under simultaneous time frames.

Decision Making Abilities:

  • Decisions directly impact the cost and successful completion of the project as well as employee relocations. Manage multiple vendors to ensure maximum value is received.

  • Serve as in-house consultant on employee relocation process as well as the remodeling/construction project. Make decisions to ensure proper use of Facility Assets. Assure contract terms are complied with and proper sign-offs obtained.



Bachelors degree in field of Design, Business Management, or Construction Management preferred.


  • Prefera minimum of four years experience in facilities with project managementexpertise.

  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office and Auto CAD for qualified candidates is preferred.


  • Skilled at oral and written communications witheffective interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to solve problems and exercise judgmentindependently with little direction.

  • Skilled in project management and scheduling.

  • Manage multiple budgets and schedules.

  • Collaborate, contribute, and communicate in ateam environment.

  • Review, evaluate, and finalize design solutionswith the ability to read technical materials such as shop drawings andinstallation drawings.
