Process Operator (Job Number: 192110W-01)
Ensures that job responsibilities and other activities performed are conducted safely, in conformance to plant regulations and to section safety protocols. This includes, but not limited to, reporting near-miss and first aid incidents, joining incident investigations, BBS inspections and safety committees.
Ensures that processes are also operated in accordance to section standard operating protocols and compliant to plant’s Quality and Productivity Standards such as ISO9001, HACCP and GMP.
Ensures that the equipments being operated on or the processes responsible in are performing at expected productivity levels. This includes performing specific equipment/process metrics calculations (OEE, others) during the shift to determine process/equipment conditions.
Ensures that equipment throughput and performance measures are accurately recorded in the respective logsheets and/or log books.
Performs equipment maintenance activities such as (but not limited to) cleaning, inspection, bolt tightening and oiling.
Recommends equipment improvements under the plant’s continuous improvement programs such as the IAF and CIP.
Knowledge/Skills and Certifications
At least a college graduate
Knowledge in basic plant operations preferred.
General knowledge of carrageenan processes preferred
- Minimum five years experience in related jobs in hydrocolloids production.
Average communication skills (English and local dialect).
Has an eye for details
Excellent analytical skills.
Creative, good problem solver.
Good safety attitude.
