In this role, you will be responsible to manage and coordinate all construction activities on the project site for our agrichemical plants. Be an active member during FEL-2 and FEL3 planning and documentation process, assures construction contracting strategies meet both project and business objectives. Engage the contractor for constructability input to the design effort in addition to project schedule, quality requirements and cost control strategies. Monitor and approves completeness of contractor activities and payment for completed work.


  • Plan and organize complex, multi-discipline construction projects (both expansion of existing plants and construction of the new ones), allocation of resources / schedules.

  • Assure safety, schedule, quality of work, cost performance and change management of all field construction activities on the project.

  • Monitors and tracks contractor work for quality and completeness. Provides progress reports on construction activities to Project Leadership.

  • Sets expectations for contractors, assures Business objectives are met and audits contractor’s performance.

  • Provides input on equipment and materials marshalling at the construction site. Ensures a robust inventory management and contractor hand-off of materials for the assigned project

  • Establish and implement capital project Quality Reporting and Metrics for the assigned project.

  • Assist the AgCo project team to perform the Owner's Quality role. Establish overall project Quality requirements and any unique standards/specifications, reviewing and assessing the contractor's Quality Plans and Programs for fit and appropriateness, defining deliverables format and content, and then auditing/inspecting the contractor work process/products to ensure that Quality processes are being followed/accomplished, and that deliverables meet AgCo expectations.

  • Monitors and tracks contractor work for quality and completeness. Provides progress reports on construction activities to Project Leadership.

  • Reviews and approves contractor invoicing of completed work.

  • Provides input into Contractor Safety and provides trend analysis

  • Ensures critical review and audit processes are in place and effective (i.e. 100% Design Reviews, field quality audits).

  • Accountable to the Ag Co Project Leadership for managing Contractors’ Safety at Project Sites, for their assigned projects to ensure that construction contractors are following site and corporate best practice and policy for managing the safety of all employees on the construction site.

  • Drives construction technology applications to advance construction productivity, construction safety, cost effectiveness and continuous improvement

  • Ensure all construction processes of the projects being managed, strictly adhere to the AgCo Corporate/Business Intellectual Property (IP) / Trade Secrets (TS) content policy

  • Maximize bringing ‘Outside-In’ from organizations such as CII, CURT, etc., to advance on Continuous Improvement on Construction Management.



  • Several years of similar working experience

  • Project management skills, budgeting, planning, managingthird parties, experience with PM SW (MS Project, Primavera)

  • Experience using the site work permitting processes.

  • Familiarity and experience within the AgCo Capital ProjectWork Process will be a plus

  • Knowledge of best practice for managing safety on theconstruction site.

  • Understanding and detailed knowledge of construction qualityand acceptance criteria.

  • Fluent English is a must

  • Mobility, willingness to travel up to 50% of the workingtime
