Accounting Supervisor - Payroll and Benefit NA (Job Number: 017743W-01)
The Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for providing administrative, leadership and direction for Payroll and Benefit accounting for the North America region.
This position supervises and managesa team of financial professionals performing Payroll and Benefits accountingfor the United States and Canada.
Interacts with HR, Business Finance,Treasury, Tax and Accounting Policy.
Maintains and improves accountingand internal controls in accordance to Company standards.
Analyzes and resolves complexaccounting and reporting issues.
Acts as a resource to major businessunits and corporate or finance initiatives.
Implements accounting policies andstandard procedures to ensure external financial statements are in accordancewith generally accepted accounting principles and internal management reportsare consistent with established policies and procedures.
Ability to build a winning team bydriving change and innovation.
Must be able to build strong,sustainable alliances and relationships with internal customers both inside andoutside Finance.
Must embrace and champion change andbe able to coach new team members to help drive maximum contributions.
Needs to use strong business acumento make decisions impacting the team and business reporting.
Must be able to mobilize resourcesin support of centering and other special projects.
Strong, impactful communicationskills required.

Results-oriented focus and projectmanagement skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Payroll and Benefits accounting experience preferred
8-10 years accounting experience
SAP FI/CO knowledge preferred
Attention to detail is critical to success
Knowledge of basic auditing and internal controlstandards (SOX compliance)Proven leadership skills
Position requires strong analyticalskills and ability to multi-task
