The Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for providing administrative, leadership and direction for Payroll and Benefit accounting for the North America region.

Responsibilities:

  • This position supervises and managesa team of financial professionals performing Payroll and Benefits accountingfor the United States and Canada.

  • Interacts with HR, Business Finance,Treasury, Tax and Accounting Policy.

  • Maintains and improves accountingand internal controls in accordance to Company standards.

  • Analyzes and resolves complexaccounting and reporting issues.

  • Acts as a resource to major businessunits and corporate or finance initiatives.

  • Implements accounting policies andstandard procedures to ensure external financial statements are in accordancewith generally accepted accounting principles and internal management reportsare consistent with established policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

  • Payroll and Benefits accounting experience preferred

  • 8-10 years accounting experience

  • SAP FI/CO knowledge preferred

  • Attention to detail is critical to success

  • Knowledge of basic auditing and internal controlstandards (SOX compliance)Proven leadership skills

  • Position requires strong analyticalskills and ability to multi-task
