Description

  • Supports and works with AP Marketing Director and AP Portfolio Product Manager, Vietnam Business Manager and Vietnam team to deliver revenue and financial targets.

  • Leads the business planning and strategic marketing planning process including market segment plans, venture launch plans and participate in Enterprise Planning Process for Vietnam

  • Lead effective implementation of market segment plans and venture launch plans, covering market research, marketing communications and database marketing in Vietnam

  • Leads the disciplined implementation of sales and marketing planning and execution processes to realizing results from strategic initiatives and growth projects

  • Identifies and assesses market opportunity; develops market segments, product portfolio and new businesses; organizes resources to support market growth.

  • Strengthen sales and marketing competency and participate in the team’s career development.

  • Cost effective management of selling expense and demand creation budgets

  • As part of the business leadership team for Vietnam, work with BU and country management, sales and marketing, operations and cross-functional teams to gain alignment and support for Vietnam business strategies and execution plans.

Qualifications

Degree or appropriate professional qualification, with at least 5 years’ experience in sales and

marketing management, preferably including at least 2 years as a marketing manager. Ability to guide and develop the team in strategic business planning.

A broad understanding of the agricultural industry as well as a thorough knowledge of marketing and business planning concepts and their application.

In-depth knowledge of chemical products in crop protection and their application as well as extensive practical experience in their development and marketing. Extensive experience in crop protection, sales/marketing, sales network, sales training/development, sales communication/ advertising education and training, and networking with industry counterparts. Must know business reporting and budgeting.

Strong organisational and people management skills demonstrated by very good interpersonal skills with ability to effectively supervise, coach, and develop people. Able to read and speak English fluently. Strong spoken and written communication skills. Demonstrated leadership capabilities. Able to work with process groups and manage consensus building. To be a solution-oriented and results-oriented person
